Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Venom Tech SAS, a French SAS, operates https://www.vvvenom.com. Contact: admin@vvvenom.com.

2. What we collect

Browser-level data: your IP address, user agent string, and Accept-Language header are visible to our edge proxy (Traefik). We keep minimal access logs for abuse prevention and debugging, retained for 30 days.

Cookies: only essential session cookies for the /admin area. No advertising or analytics trackers are set on visitor pages.

Email captures: when you opt in via the email-capture widget, we store your email address. We use it only for product updates. Subscriptions are double-opt-in — you confirm via a link before we add you.

3. What we don't collect

The birth date you type into the calculator is processed in memory to compute your Maya day sign and is never stored alongside identifying information. We don't profile visitors and we don't fingerprint browsers.

4. Third-party processors

A small set of providers see narrow slices of data on our behalf:

• OpenRouter (DeepSeek model) — receives topic prompts for blog drafting; no personal data.
• Kubeez — receives image-generation prompts.
• Cloudflare R2 — stores blog images in EU regions.
• Bugsnag — receives backend error reports. Reports may include the request URL and a stack frame; we never include user-supplied input in error context.

5. Cookies

Single essential cookie:

• venom_admin_session — purpose: keep an authenticated /admin session — duration: 12 hours — first-party — strictly necessary.

6. Legal basis (GDPR)

Legitimate interest covers running the site, edge logging for abuse prevention, and crash reporting. Consent covers email captures (you opt in, you can opt out at any time).

7. Where data lives

We keep data inside the EU wherever we can. Cloudflare R2 buckets are configured to EU regions. Postgres and Redis run on our Komodo worker hosted at OVH Beauharnois (where OVH operates EU and CA regions; our worker-1 is on the OVH France network).

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, port, or stop processing your personal data, and you can object to specific uses. Email admin@vvvenom.com from the address you used. We respond within 30 days.

9. Children

Venom Astrology is not directed at people under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If we learn an account belongs to a younger person, we delete it.

10. Security

Traffic is served over TLS. Passwords (when accounts exist) are stored as salted hashes. Object storage is encrypted at rest by Cloudflare R2. Production secrets are managed via Komodo Variables, not committed.

11. Retention

Email captures are kept until you unsubscribe. Edge access logs are kept 30 days. Database backups are kept 7 days, then overwritten.

12. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced with a banner on the site for at least seven days. Continued use after the change takes effect counts as acceptance of the new policy.
